More and more destinations require an arrival card or declaration online before departure, each with its own name, deadline and site. Most popular destinations in Southeast Asia: Thailand's TDAC, Malaysia's MDAC, Singapore's SGAC, Vietnam's pre-arrival declaration, Cambodia's e-Arrival, Indonesia's All Indonesia and the Philippines' eTravel; Taiwan, the Maldives and South Korea too. Japan's Visit Japan Web is optional.
02How early should I submit?
Mostly within 3 days before arrival; Cambodia 7 days, the Maldives 96 hours. Earlier submissions are not accepted.
03Do they cost anything?
All free. Any site asking for money is not official.
04Which of these can AutoePass fill?
Vietnam's two forms and the Malaysian and Singaporean forms are verified field by field; the others are filled by field recognition, uncertain fields are left blank, and submitting is always yours.
