01Is AIeVisa a visa agency?
No. AIeVisa is a self-service form tool; you submit and pay on the destination's official site yourself. Approval is decided by the destination's immigration authority.
02Where do my passport and photos go?
Nowhere by default: passport images, portraits and every field stay in the browser on your device. Two exceptions, both your choice. Document recognition: when fields are to be read automatically, that one image is sent once to a third-party vision model; switch off "auto-recognise" above the upload area and the image is only stored and you type the fields. Automatic backup: after signing in with Google in the AutoePass extension and setting your own password, the card and document wallet are backed up to us as end-to-end encrypted ciphertext; the key is derived from your password and we cannot decrypt it.
03Which destinations are covered?
The lookup covers 199 passports and 198 destinations. For auto-fill, the AutoePass extension works on any web form; the Vietnam e-visa (evisa.gov.vn) and the Vietnam pre-arrival declaration (prearrival.immigration.gov.vn) are verified field by field. For other destinations that can be done online but are not yet integrated, you can request them on the result card.
04How long does the Vietnam e-visa take?
Officially 3 working days, usually 3 to 5 days in practice; Vietnamese public holidays push it back.
05How are fees paid?
Government visa fees are paid directly on the destination's official site; we never handle them. The lookup, the profile card and the browser extension are free. The processing service is not open, takes no money and no cases.
06What if the visa is refused?
Visa fees are collected by the destination government and are not refunded on refusal, which is the rule everywhere. We currently charge nothing. Approval is decided by the destination's immigration authority; we make no promises and cannot intervene.
07Can I delete my data?
Yes. The data is in your browser: click "Clear this card" on the card page, or clear the site data directly. Without automatic backup we hold no copy; with it, the deletion is synced to the encrypted backup as well.
08Does the card survive a new computer or a cleared cache?
Two ways. Turn on automatic backup in the AutoePass extension: sign in with Google and set a password, every change is then backed up encrypted, and on a new computer you install the extension, sign in with the same Google account and enter the password to restore; we do not have the password, so a forgotten one means the backup cannot be opened. Or click "Save an offline copy" on the card page to export a file to your own disk. If you do neither, clearing site data, switching browsers or changing computers loses the data.
09What does the exported file look like?
A single HTML file with the fields and both photos inside. Double-click to open it in a browser or print it to PDF; no software needed. Choose plain text or encrypt it with your own password; an encrypted file decrypts locally when opened, without going online. We do not have the password, so a forgotten one cannot be recovered.
